Computer Systems Analyst Senior - Lockheed Martin - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

This position is contingent upon contract award expected in early 2016. This position is identified as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS. Position is located in Afghanistan: Computer Systems Analyst Senior is responsible for providing computer support to PED infrastructure to ensure Operational Availabillity and compliant data collection. Includes providing and updating operations manuals, processes and procedures for all Systems, Subsystems or items. Perform all PME maintenance actions to include pre and post mission functions, all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions. Perform all PME/MEP equipment special inspections for all systems. Provide total depot and field services support for all PME/MEP for all systems. “Sample Description of Work Performed: Must have experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer based systems. Must possess specific experience in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large-scale systems, including experience in data base management concepts. Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods is required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.

Basic Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree” Minimum Years of Experience: Must have experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer based systems. Must possess specific experience in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large-scale systems, including experience in data base management concepts. Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods is required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs. NACI required prior to deployment and within 30 days of start date. Valid passport for at least 3 years. Ability to read, write and speak English Familiarly with basic computer skills Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner

Desired skills

Preferred Degree in Computer science or related field Ability to multi-task in a complex and austere environment Experience as part of an overseas military contingency deployment or in Afghanistan
