(AFG) Biometric/Assistant Security Manager
Primary Function:
Responsible for supporting the Security Manager in the successful development,
management, and oversight of a viable security program for the HETR program
to include all personnel, material, training, and operational requirements for the program. Manage and develop the procurement supply and distribution of classified and non-classified information. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.
Essential Functions:
Ensure strict compliance to the appropriate FRAGOs and guidance pertaining to armed civilians
Ensure the proper accountability, maintenance, and repair of property and equipment assigned to
security personnelKeep sensitive information safe
Track and update Cyber Security Training of Officers
Monitor access of units websites and assure that information passes on the right people
Update Security Systems
Mentor and manage subordinate security personnel
Administer retina scanning for background checks and documenting all results
Ensure all security personnel are properly trained and equipped to function in their assigned positions.
Prepare, complete, or revise of Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and Training
Plans as necessaryContinually assess security situation to ensure optimum utilization of security assets and the maximum
protection of personnel and ammunition assetsEnsure proper information exchange regarding threat situations or heightened security requirements
occur during shift briefingsMonitor records management system pertaining to security operations
Maintain daily communications with subordinate security site personnel to track activities, to identify
problems and/or issues, and to ensure customer satisfactionProvide briefings/presentations outlining Sterling’s capabilities in response to business opportunities
when necessary or requiredMaintain a viable key control program for all vehicle, supply and equipment storage, ammunition
storage, and housing keysBackfill as Security Manager in his absence
Job Requirements:
Previous security experience in the U.S. military or other law enforcement agencies
If former military must have received an honorable discharge
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
Must possess a Secret clearance
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project
Pass a detailed annual medical evaluation
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds and carry heavy objects routinely
Ability to work in a remote and potentially austere location
Ability to work in harsh working conditions, outdoors, and/or in extreme temperatures
Must qualify with assigned weapons
