Primary Function:


Provides technical assistance for all BCAT IT related operations. Supports team operations and interface with appropriate systems to support overall base closure/transfer efforts. Additionally, conducts customer support duties and recommend necessary IT action pertinent to all aspects of customer support while facilitating knowledge management and file sharing. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values.


Essential Functions:


  • Work with BOS-I communications representatives to ensure all team members have domain access and access to automated military supply systems upon arrival to assist the BOS-I

  • Act as BCAT help desk/IT support in order to provide technical assistance to users and minimize connectivity disruptions for team members

  • Consults with and provides recommendations to JENG IT specialist to update BTRS programming and functionality

  • Upload supporting base closure/transfer documentation into BTRS

  • Serve as BCAT knowledge management specialist to digitally archive documentation and reports created by during the base assistance process

  • Facilitate file sharing between BCAT teams, BOS-Is and interested parties

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree, or technical degree equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field of study required

  • Possess at least three (3) years of IT related work experience

  • Must be certified in programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access

  • Proficient in Adobe applications

  • Proficient in Share Point and its programming requirements

  • Must possess a valid Secret Clearance

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to all members of the organization in a clear and concise manner

  • Business and management skills involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

  • Understands arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications

  • Structure of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

  • Understand Contractor resources available for referral of employees and how to quickly diffuse a critical situation

  • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation

  • Must be willing to travel OCONUS

  • Must possess valid passport

  • Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
