Responsibilities:
The Corrections System Support Program (CSSP) Task Order is seeking an individual to be based in our Kabul, Afghanistan office and to serve as QA/QC Manager. Duties as follows, but not limited to: – Audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards to task order requirements and policy including government funding cost controls, asset protection, and management of Government resources. – Develop effective quality control and continuous improvement processes. – Measure and track the performance metrics established. – Incorporate management approach to identify negative trends and recommend corrective actions. – Produce monthly Kabul-based reports. – Plan audits and inspections for review periods. – Develops the qualitative and quantitative metrics program to objectively and empirically evaluate the progress on the benchmarks and deliverables. – Defines inspection procedures for all areas of the contract. – Maintains an audit schedule, and performs audits of procedures, reporting requirements, plans, programs and records. – Records data and analyzes performance. – Tracks deficiencies and works with management to define corrective action plans and close out deficiencies. – Collects and analyzes data to determine trends. – Ensures quality-related training is provided to PAE employees. – Implement and maintain an effective management system for efficient operations. – Works closely with Functional Area Managers to perform quality assessments. – Performs other duties as assigned. – Directly reports to Deputy Program Manager. – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Qualifications:
Specific Qualification Requirements: – Minimum of five (5) years’ experience – Licenses, Certifications and Registrations: The American Society for Quality (ASQ) offers various certifications, including a designation for Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), and numerous sources of information and various levels of certification for Lean Six Sigma. Education: – Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial field Clearance Requirement: – Active Clearance or MRPT Other requirements: – Applicant should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of building codes and have studied engineering or architecture or who have a certificate or an associate’s degree that includes courses in building inspection, construction technology, and drafting – Demonstrated comparable experience working on international projects – Must be able to live and work at the assignment location which could be remote and uncomfortable – Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions – This position is most likely a 3-8 month assignment – Must be a US citizen PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
