This job position is located in Kabul, Afghanistan and supports the Afghan National Police (ANP) UHF Radio Trunking System. Successful candidate will be located in a secure (civilian) compound in Kabul with other team members and provide direct support to the Program Manager in the administration of the contract. Current contract expires 16-Apr-16 with an anticipated extension to 16-Oct-16 and opportunity for follow-on contract work with the ANP.


Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)


  • Directs and manages the administrative function for the Company

  • Manages the travel program, office equipment and office supplies

  • Serve as liaison to management, advising on Corporate policies and procedures relevant to administrative, procurement travel and other matters

  • Monitor monthly phone bills, training employees and resolving problems

  • Identifies researches and evaluates vendors for cost-effective technical services

  • Coordinates procurement with internal supply chain and finance department

  • Review subcontractor invoices to ensure accurate recording and billing of services and material.

  • Track invoices and coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure subcontractor payments are on time.

  • Audit and review work performed by the staff and assist them with their duties as required

  • Provides program management support to engineering staff.

  • Support includes project scheduling, financial management, briefing, coordination and graphic presentation.

  • Manage and distribute information between the military and corporate representatives

  • Receive and report on daily personnel status

  • Submit all of administrative personnel status reports with the military and corporate representatives

  • Input all employee movements intra-theater and tracks their locations

  • Plan and Coordinate meetings between the Program management Team and the military representatives

  • Assist employees with time card, travel, leave, and all other administrative issues

  • Process all employee military air and ground transportation requests

  • Maintain personal data files and training records for ANP students.

  • In-process and out-process all employees through the military

  • Tracks CAC Card, LOA, Passport and VISA expiration and all NDC attendance dates

  • Process leave forms with the military and corporate representatives

  • Maintain the admin continuity / historical documents on SharePoint

  • Scan, fax, and reproduce documents and briefings for the military and corporate representatives

  • Provide support to program managers in the areas of program planning and tracking

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers, under the direction of the program manager

  • Prepares customer communication as requested

  • Perform other activities as necessary in an austere environment as directed by Program Manager.

Education & Experience: (or equivalent)


Associates Degree (Preferred)


5 years experience


3 years of experience in related field


1 years of experience working in Afghanistan.


License & Certifications:

Knowledge & Skills:


  • Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Fluent with interpreting/administering subcontracts.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical/problem solving skills

  • Work unsupervised in a reliable manner to complete all tasks on time and in quality manner.

Physical Demands/Working Environment:


Working conditions are adverse at times and require a tolerance for drastic temperatures change, dry climates and sand storms. Candidate must be able to repeatedly walk, climb, lift, bend, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, etc.
