Description:


JOB DESCRIPTION:

– The Field Service Representative will be a member of an Entry Control Point Hardware Retrograde Team sustaining and de-installing equipment on high- risk Forward Operating Bases (FOB) in SW Asia.



  • Must be able to interface with military units on the ground during maintenance and de-install visits.




  • The Field Service Representative will also be required to assist with the movement of repair parts from storage sites to the FOB.




  • The Field Service Representative will also assist managing the retrograde of faulty equipment back to RPAT yards and storage sites.
    Qualifications:



REQUIRED SKILLS:

– Must meet DoD Height/Weight standards.



  • Must currently possess a SECRET security clearance.




  • Must satisfactorily complete National Deployment Center (NDC) requirements, including medical and dental requirements prior to deployment.




  • Must be able to lift 97 pounds occasionally and 73 pounds frequently.




  • Must be willing to live and work in austere, hostile environment for extended periods of time.



REQUIRED EDUCATION:

– High school degree and 6+ years of experience is required.



  • A Bachelors degree from an accredited university is desired.




  • Related experience to include military training may not be substituted in lieu of a required degree.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:




  • Must have significant experience in areas of installing, maintaining, and training Force Protection equipment i.e. cameras, operator stations, hydraulic lift and mechanical barriers, metal detectors, turnstiles, mobile pop up barriers, and electronic crash barriers/barricades.




  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.




  • Possess technical expertise and technical knowledge regarding automated logistics systems (MENS-E, PBUSE, COLTS, etc).




  • Knowledgeable of Retrograde Property Accountability Team (RPAT) practices to include equipment accountability, forecasting, field warehouse operations, material distribution, equipment disposition, and historical files and records.
