Training & Development Rep Stf - Lockheed Martin - Fort Campbell, KY

This position is defined as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS. Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.

Basic Qualifications

Licensed FAA A&P Mechanic or Licensed FAA Technician 2 years classroom instructional experience, with 4 years of experience with performing aircraft inspections and working in a production control or maintenance control office or facility Graduate of a formal Basic Instructor Training Course, Military, College or other accredited Instructor School. Experience assisting with curriculum development, review and revision. Experience with Formal Course Reviews and/or quarterly and annual course audit procedures and expectations. Must be familiar with FAA technical inspection and documentation requirements Must be knowledgeable and conversant in military maintenance operations, safety, and QC standardization and inspection procedures Must be able to perform the full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certify accomplished work. This entails the ability to: troubleshoot engines and systems; use the federal supply system; read and understand technical manuals and schematics; read and interpret all instruments; use special test equipment and tools; research the technical library; perform full system checkouts on all aircraft systems; perform mechanic test flight duties; and perform complete servicing of aircraft. Experience assisting with curriculum development, review and revision. Experience with Formal Course Reviews and/or quarterly and annual course audit procedures and expectations. Must be knowledgeable and conversant in military maintenance operations, safety, standardization, technical inspections, and supervision instructions, student management, and maintenance management Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted for this position which is 10 years of related experience and a BS degree or equivalent. NACI or Interim NACI required prior to start date Active passport with a minimum of 12 months before expiration prior to start date. Visa with multiple entries for 12 months prior to start date Completion of Customer required International Readiness Certifications prior to deployment. Failure to complete any of these actions within 60 days of accept will result in rescinding of the offer. If the candidate is unable to pass the medical screening after the start date and prior to deployment an immediate administrative termination will be requested.


Desired skills

Experience on DoD/fixed wing turboprop aircraft Desired experience with PC-12 Desired experience with Pilatus Aircraft Associates Degree from an accredited college or university Work experience in austere environments such as Afghanistan Understanding and accepting local languages, customs and traditions (to be able to work with local customs, transport systems and language interpretation) Ability to work and live in a team environment Proficient in Dari a plus, but not required, desire to learn about other languages and cultures Military deployment experience is highly desired and deployment experience to the CENTCOM region is desired Maintenance and maintenance training experience preferably in an FMS environment FAA Inspection Authority (IA) Certificate a plus Should be knowledgeable of Flight Operation Plan and Ground Operating Procedure Operations
