(AFG-KABUL) Advisor, Systems Integrator

Job Summary

Systems Integrator Advisor shall advise on the technical integration of varied organizational and resource management system.

Principal Accountabilities

• Advise on the technical integration of varied organizational and resource management system.


• Assist with the integration of core resource management processes using common databases managed by an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.


• Mentor and advise the Afghanistan National Defense Security Force (ANDSF) on developing a structured and sustainable ERP framework to facilitate robust resource management functions to include, but not limited to: financial accounting, personnel management systems, electronic payroll systems, financial transactions within the security ministries.


• Every two weeks, submit a weekly update report to the requiring activity in order to illustrate: progress achieved toward the requiring activity’s plan of actions and milestones; and a plan of action for the coming week that supports the requiring activity’s plan of action and milestones.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

• Automated data processing knowledge: possess extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, web-enabled applications, database design and structures


• Self-driven and can work independently or with little oversite toward team objectives.

Experience & Education

• Automated data processing knowledge: possess extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, web-enabled applications, database design and structures


• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education.


• Minimum 8 years of experience in two or more of the following areas: database design and implementation, organizational change management, solution architecture, process re-engineering, functional (HR, payroll, accounting, planning/budgeting), and project management.


• Self-driven and can work independently or with little oversite toward team objectives.


• Must have a final (not interim) SECRET Level Security DoD Clearance before deployment and must maintain that clearance.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

• Must pass all medical and fitness requirements directed by US Central Command (CENTCOM) in order to deploy.


• Must be able to operate in harsh and austere conditions of Afghanistan

Travel

• Must be capable of daily travel in and around Kabul as well as to locations throughout Afghanistan.
