Field Service Representative OCONUS - Leidos - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

POSITION SUMMARY:
The job of the Field Service Representative (FSR) is to provide operations and maintenance of computer and communication systems in support of 24/7 OCONUS and CONUS PED operations. The candidate will maintain computer and communication systems supporting both prototype and continuing operational intelligence systems. This position is located in Afghanistan and supports the Aerial Reconnaissance Support Teams (ARST) PED teams. The position will report to the site lead.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintenance and configuration of MAAS systems, NetApp storage systems, PED systems, Windows based workstations and servers, IP routers, Ethernet switches, tactical radios, SATCOM systems, network setup and configuration, and COMSEC and crypto management.


• Working knowledge of MAAS systems, Windows operating systems, desktop support, and extensive knowledge and experience in support of ISR collection systems.


• Experience with COMSEC and encryption device management. Military experience and previous PED support are preferred.

To be considered for this position candidates must:

• Be willing to deploy for rotations of at least 90 days, although longer rotations are also possible and desirable.


• Be able to obtain a passport or visa to travel internationally.


• Be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.


• Be willing to work in Hardship and Hazardous locations.


• Be willing to work long hours and / or non-regular hours with minimal notice.


• Have a minimum active TS/SCI clearance.


• Must be able to successfully accomplish the CONUS Replacement Center course which requires a successful deployment physical, immunizations and training.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.


• Must have previous computer and server support experience.


• Must have previous MAAS support experience.


• Must have previous experience with maintenance and configuration of IP routers, Ethernet switches, tactical radios, SATCOM systems, network setup and configuration, and COMSEC and crypto management.


• Must have DoD TS/SCI Security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Military experience and previous PED support are preferred.


• Cisco or other networking certifications are a preferred.


• Microsoft certifications are preferred.
