CIAV Ops/Intelligence Analyst - AMERICAN SYSTEMS - Fort Meade, MD

American Systems is currently seeking Operations and Intelligence Analysts for our Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) program within our JITC contract.

JITC is the only Department of Defense (DoD) Organization who can certify Information Technology (IT) equipment, systems, applications and capabilities for joint use. JITC professionally tests, operationally evaluates and certifies IT capabilities for joint interoperability, enabling information dominance and increasing warfighter effectiveness for the Nation. The JITC is also the only Non-Military Department Operational Test Agency (OTA) for the DoD and services as the OTA for several different DoD Agency’s and IT programs.

The United States (US) Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) provides a rapid response methodology to resolve mission process, training and technical capability gaps in a mission partner environment, enhancing timely and accurate mission critical data sharing for Commanders throughout all phases of military operations. The UFR objectives are to: Transition the current CIAV program from its principal role of supporting Afghanistan Mission Network (AMN) operations within the US Central Command (CENTCOM) to proactively supporting all Combatant Commands (COCOMs) and the emergent Mission Partner Environment (MPE), currently known as the Future Mission Network (FMN). Establish a persistent, enduring process to improve overall global interoperability via implementation and execution of a coalition focused, mission-based interoperability process, enabling multiple nations to fight as one on Day One. This increases readiness and provides assured mission interoperability for the next engagement.

Candidates will provide on-site/in-theater coordination with the COCOMs. This includes dedicated staff to work with the principle staff elements operating on and using the mission network (J2—Intelligence, J3—Operations, and J6—Interoperability). Assigned personnel research problems, develop documentation, observe operations, support assessment events and provide feedback from the analysts. This capability proved to be critical to current AMN efforts and will also be critical moving forward for MPE . Candidates will also provide IA assessments, guidance and recommendations to the Government on field of upgrades and enhancements based on IA posture.
