(AFG-Bagram) Logistician, Senior Lead

Position is deployed to South West Asia in support of an electronic/electro-mechanical, optic sensor surveillance system.

Performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

Job Duties:*

• Maintain inventory of all levels of tools and equipment

• Research and prepare requisitioning documents for supplies

• Order, record and attain materials and/or equipment procured through the Army Unit Supply

• Prepare supply requests

• Record, maintain and execute the return of excess or unserviceable parts and equipment

• Prepare shipping documentation, record and inventory all incoming/outgoing shipments

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:*

• Ability to handle stress and work under pressure

• Ability to use MS office

• Ability to use PC

• Interpersonal and people skills

• Oral and written communication skills

• Organizational skills

• Analytical and critical thinking skills

• Certified on PBUSE system

• GFE/GFP inventory and accountability experience on large government contracts

• RCLS experience

• GCSS Certification preferred

Qualifications:

Senior Lead: Position requires 20 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience.

Candidate must be willing to work and live in U.S. Military Bases and travel between U.S. Bases by Military AIR or Force Protected convoy. Past military experience highly desirable. Overseas work in the South West Asia will be compensated including hardship, hazardous differentials and bonus pay. U.S. DOD SECRET security clearance is required. Candidate must possess a valid US drivers license and US passport. Candidate must meet all physical, medical and other requirements for overseas deployment in accordance with current DoD regulations.This position is in a TDY status in SWA; reassignment from one U.S. Military Base to another may be required based on the needs of the contract.
