IT SPECIALIST
Job Description:
The Contractor shall function as a system administrator and network manager for the Garrison IT systems on BAF. The Contractor shall be appointed Enhanced Trusted Agent duties.
- Ensure the Garrison successfully interfaces with all network Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR)/Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and CENTRIX (CXI) enclaves on BAF.
- Serve as the Garrison SharePoint administrator for all NIPR, SIPR and CXI enclaves.
- Add, install, operate, and maintain DoD User Accounts, Windows Server 2008 or later file and print servers. The Contractor shall troubleshoot computer, server, and software problems, and shall provide basic user level customer service to ensure continued connectivity to include network printer and share mappings.
- Resolve customer IT problems in an accurate and timely manner. The Contractor shall resolve issues internally when possible, or through submitting help desk tickets to higher IT organizations as needed. Initial response to all problems within 48 hours, and shall ensure that 95% of tickets are resolved.
- Add, delete, or modify all user accounts for Garrison personnel, ensuring 100% compliance.
- Ensure the rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of customer support services, with 100% compliance.
- Test the viability of network cabling and determine if replacement is required.
- Plan, install, and coordinate the installation of network switching to include running cable and installing (RJ45) connectors, and shall be familiar with Cisco VOIP phone configurations.
- Advise the supply directorate on IT procurement issues relating to the above technologies.
- Gather information and submit status reports on IT projects.
- Resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
- Monitor functionality, security, and integrity of internet services.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain customer hardware and software.
- Maintain, update, and monitor the Bagram Air Field Brochure and NIPR, SIPR and CXI BAF Portal Website.
- Regularly utilize the Remedy helpdesk ticketing system.
- Maintain effective working relationships with military leadership, contractors, civilians and local nationals; communicating both verbally and in writing to key personnel both within and outside Garrison Bagram.
- Automated Data Processing (ADP) Systems.
- Possess the expertise and capability to use the ADP systems utilized by Garrison Bagram and its customers in support of the requirements of this PWS. The contractor shall assist in the dissemination of information gained on a project or program specific basis to all Garrison Bagram customers
Data Repository.
- Store, transmit, evaluate and/or present data generated in support of the Garrison Bagram mission
- Collect data on services Garrison Bagram provides to its customers.
- Analyze and report on findings.
- Produce visual media products in support of the Garrison Bagram mission.
- Consult with graphic illustrators on development of artwork and coordinate with staff or contracted photographers to acquire needed photographic images.
- GeoBase, GeoReach and Other Geospatial Functions.
- Use geospatial information in support of the Garrison Bagram mission.
The Contractor shall possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
