Jr. Audio Visual Engineer

Description:
NES is searching for a Jr. Audio Visual Engineer to work as a member of a network survey and engineering/implementation team to develop initial and long term strategy related to audio-visual services and products, evaluate the health of customer systems based on strategy, and identify short falls and discrepancies.


Candidate will provide engineering support for, design, plan for, and install video walls, conference rooms, digital displays, and unclassified and classified video teleconferencing. Candidate will additionally analyze requirements, identify shortfalls, develop engineering solutions and detailed AV system designs, create and execute implementation plans, perform system integration and system testing. Individual will perform general installation, device configuration, basic programming (Extron, Crestron and AMX), and troubleshooting.


Qualifications


Required Experience and Skills:
3+ years’ relevant work experience


Required Education and/or Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training, or an associate’s degree in audiovisual technology required


CTS-D or CTS-I (CTS-D preferred)


Must pass an extensive government background check


Must pass a drug screening test


Must have a Secret Clearance, US Citizenship is required


Position requires 75% travel


Preferred Qualifications:
TS-SCI clearance preferred
