Deployed Flight Simulator Instructor - > $150k - Merlin Global Services - United States





A-29 Pilot instruction of foreign nationals in a simulator environment in Afghanistan. Essential Functions

Provide subject matter instruction in A-29 flight simulator operations

Ensure that approved A-29 flight procedures and squadron standards are taught to each pilot in A-29 flight simulator training sessions

Responsible for accurately maintaining simulator training records

Inform supervisor of any delays in training due to operational or mechanical issues

Monitor the maintenance condition of the equipment

Recommend improvements to A-29 flight simulator operations in a timely manne

File incident reports as necessary to report any observed safety violations, or situations that may affect safety

Attend administrative, standardization, in-service training, and instructor development meetings as assigned.

Other duties as assigne Minimum Experience / Skill-Set Requirements

Prior U.S. Military instructor pilot or instructor Weapons Systems Operator (WSO)/Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) in air-to-ground fighter aircraft. Note: WSO/RIO shall possess a FAA CFII, instructor certified ATP, or equivalent designation

Must be able to complete appropriate instructor certification (in GA) in a maximum of 60 calendar days

Prior flight simulator operator experience desired Physical Requirements

Sitting 70%

Standing 20%

Walking 10%

Lifting up to 5-10 lbs

Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reachin,,g Speaking Hearing, Seeing, Depth Perception, Color Vision

Job Type: Full-time

Required license or certification:
Secret Security Clearance
