Location: Afghanistan Theindividual supporting this role may lead a variety of logistics functions toinclude: warehousing, packaging, transportation, maintaining, repairing,facilities operation, and equipment operation. Individual will be operationallyfamiliar with DOD Logistics Processes and Procedures in the areas of supply andmaintenance of ground equipment. The minimum qualifications for Logistician IIIfor this TOR, are as follows: Abachelor’s degree in a specialized field plus 3 years of applicable experience;OR, a minimum of 5 years of experience. Analyze and coordinate the logisticalfunctions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of aproduct, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery,and final disposal of resources. GeneralRequirements Must be able to lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 poundswith frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds. Demonstrated understanding of Safety and OSHA Law & Regulations Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and relatedequipment. Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time. Must be able to work in cramped areas for prolong periods time. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to includeintense heat, heavy wind, heavy rain, and snow or sleet. Must have a valid state driver’s license Must be able to attain licenses on military vehicle, tactical andNon-tactical Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a back ground check and attain a securityclearance if required. Must be able to pass random drug testing (as required). |
