Logistics Mgmt Analyst Stf - Lockheed Martin - Mount Laurel, NJ

This position is identified as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS

Provide Repair of Repairable (ROR) support for the Nonstandard Rotary Wing Aviation program in Kabul, Afghanistan. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Routine local procurement in support of Sr. PM. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.


Must possess the ability to operate effectively, geographically separated from both management and the supporting workforce and with minimal guidance


Must be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with the US Government customers and Lockheed Martin leadership to establish relationships to support program management business rhythms, business goals, aviation logistics metrics, data base management.

Must have the ability to work within tight schedule constraints, have excellent organizational skills


Must have demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills


Basic Qualifications


Must have progressive work experience in:
>Use of configuration and logistics management systems to ensure effective and economical support for manufacturing, reprocurement and servicing of products, systems or equipment.

>Plans, schedules, and implements logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.

>Coordinates logistics activities between government and vendors.

>Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

>Determines logistic support sequences and time-phasing problems arising from location of operational area and factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.




Must possess a current passport

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Must read, write, speak and understand English

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational skills


A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related scientific or technical discipline is required. A Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with four years related experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree. Also, ten (10) years of experience in logistics may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
