Requirement Overview: The Stock Record Control Trainer shall implement and operate programs, practices, and procedures for establishing and maintaining stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports in accordance with ANA Decrees 4.0 and 4.2; establish and maintain automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting; correcting errors and exception documents, reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents; with assistance from Material Control/Accountability Sergeant and Handling Specialist how to process inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents, performs Prescribed Load List (PLL) and Authorized Stock List (ASL) duties in manual and automated supply applications; Prepare, annotate and distribute shipping documents. . Work Hours: Work may include nights, holidays, and weekends on short notice. Standard will be to conduct training six (6) days per week for up to twelve (12) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s) and a standard 40 hour work week while at CONUS work sites. Responsibilities: · Train the Stock Control Section of the General Support Kandak (Battalion) in the proper procedures for running a Supply Support Activity · Train GSK Stock Record Clerks at the GSK on ASL, RLSC, and National Depot policies and procedures as well as warehouse stock record accounting and support operations. · GSK Program Trainers shall report to Team Lead as well as Program Manager · Trainers will be responsible for regularly interacting with US military personnel · Based on circumstances that are unique to their work locations, trainers will be responsible for making on the scene decisions as to how to execute the curriculum · Along with their local site managers, trainers will be responsible for assessing how well the ANA soldiers have learned the coursework Required Operational, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Candidate must have been a military E7 or higher and have had 4 years or more experience in a Supply Support Activity, Stock Control Section, Property Accountability, and Stock Control Level experience and a US Army MOS equal to 92A and 920A/B.. · Must be proficient in MS Office · Possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Visio or similar design software · Personal Computer (PC) Skills · Interpersonal and People Skills · Possess Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills and be Able to Communicate with Local National Contractors Train the trainer and then monitor trainer progress · Organizational Skills · Must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan with an understanding that they could be further assigned to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government · Must be willing to work in hostile areas · Must be willing to deploy and live on forward operating bases operated by Afghan National Army under austere conditions without regular U.S. PX and Commissary facilities · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance · Must be able to obtain a Visa for Afghanistan · Must be a have a U.S. passport or U.S. Military ID. Physical Requirements/Working Environment: · Include but are not limited to the wear of body armor and helmet Personal Protective Gear, unassisted lifting and carrying of duffle bags not exceed the weight of 70 lbs per piece, and the unassisted movement over uneven terrain. · Must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan with an understanding that there could be further assignments to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government, to include hostile and austere areas. Must be able to attend and pass USG deployment requirements at CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), Fort Bliss, Texas or equivalent location. Must meet the medical requirements for the position being offered as determined by a pre-employment medical screening and in accordance with published CRC and USCENTCOM medical deployment standards. Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to eight (8) hours per day and sit for up to three (3) hours per day. Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs. Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders. Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print. Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. Employee will be required to work and live in a potentially hostile environment, at remote locations, and under austere conditions. Employee may be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, under extreme weather conditions, within a hostile environment. · The individual may be exposed to extreme noise from aircraft, hostile fire, and other acts of aggression associated with this region. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: · Prefer a heavy logistics/warehousing background · Prefer some Special Operations background · Prefer previous experience training and advising foreign military soldiers · Certifications from U.S. Defense Logistics Agency Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance Required Education: · Bachelor’s degree & four (4) years of related experience, OR two (2) years related experience with Master’s degree. Eight (8) years of additional equivalent work experience (12 total years) may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement 80468
