Logistics Management Analyst /Trainer - Afghanistan - Lockheed Martin - Fairfax, VA

Work location will be Afghanistan and schedule will be rotations of approximately 60 days OCONUS at a time.

Sr. Staff Logistics Mgmt Analyst, as part of a core team, responsible for the assessment and improvement of the current state of the logistics infrastructure at an OCONUS location. This includes identifying any inefficiency and implementing process improvements related to all logistics and supply chain management areas with the objective of developing an efficient logistics infrastructure.

Must be a team player and willing to travel from site to site as requested by the government customer. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and/or understanding of the various logistics concepts to include Acquisition, Asset Management, Purchasing, Resource Utilization, Transportation and Supply Chain Management.


• At least (3) years of experience in a leadership role to include experience in providing training.


• Formal process improvement training. Formal is defined as either a college level course with process improvement or a commercially available in-class training course focused specifically on process improvement.


• Minimum two years of experience in business process engineering (BPE) or business process improvement.


• Basic program or project management, financial management, resource planning and performance measurement experience.


• Demonstrated, verifiable experience at assessing an organization from a people, process, technology and cost perspective.


• Demonstrated, verifiable experience at providing strategic direction.
