Job Description Assists the Site Manager with the following responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates site operations, departments, services and activities within assigned AOR. Leads site operations in a manner that ensures ongoing compliance with applicable contractual, statutory and procedural requirements. Coordinates and schedules activities of departments to ensure that support services are provided on a timely basis. Reports the status of the assigned organization to management. Investigates technical and operational issues to determine their cause and recommends resolution. Provides technical and operational guidance. Leads the effective operation of site functions and services; develops and implements improvement initiatives as needed. Responsible for the financial performance of all site operations; consistently monitors project financials, reports key metrics and takes corrective action to ensure the achievement of financial objectives. Coordinates site operations and activities with other locations, military contacts and regional management. Leads planning and
scheduling activities for site operations. Establishes site practices and procedures as appropriate.
MWR Manager responsibilities: Manages the MWR program within assigned area of responsibility. Manages operations that deliver the MWR program within contract requirements. Provides customer service to Company and client personnel regarding the use of MWR facilities, equipment or programs. Provides administrative oversight of the recreation programs and facility services relative to MWR recreation and education programming. Prepares work plans, programming templates, curriculum for use by facility and program staff; reviews
program plans and reports; provides project management assistance. Coordinates with client regarding outdoor and indoor recreation/education initiatives. Trains department staff on proper implementation of learning objectives throughout recreation services. Registers participants into recreation programs. Answers or refers questions in person, via email, or by telephone from the staff and client. Assists in customer service initiatives throughout the department.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Basic Job Requirements High school diploma / GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience and ten (10) years related experience.

Position may be located in a war zone in a contingency environment with harsh, dangerous working and living conditions, which may include carrying and wearing required personal protective equipment for extended periods of time. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employees will be literate in English (read, write, speak and understand).
Must possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Preferred Qualifications Prior military experience.
