Visa Specialist - Constellis Corporate - Reston, VA





Primary Purpose:
In this role, you will be responsible for visa requirements across all contracts and locations worldwide. As the visa specialist you will also be responsible for a number of functions to include development and maintenance of the Constellis relationship with the Iraq and Afghanistan Consulates in Washington, DC, among others.

Essential Functions:
Administer company databases used for tracking ex-pats and Third Country Nationals (TCNs) visa requirements for personnel in deployed, working & rotation statuses for managing visa compliance.

Be responsible for managing visa requirements for all personnel during their pre-employment processing.

Act as the primary liaison between the FOBs, Global Staffing and PMOs for all visa requests.

Work with existing policies and develop new strategies for visa records maintenance.

Develops and maintains SOPs for all visa processes and requirements.

Responsible for tracking all visa pricing, processing and timelines.

Responsible for identifying visa process improvements and efficiencies.

Responsible for identifying and implementing cost savings for visas across the company.

Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local Consulates.

Work with supervisor to prioritize tasks and develop additional responsibilities.

Other duties as needed.


Required Education/Experience:
MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Strong analytical and organization skills.

3-4 years of experience as Office Manager or Administrative Assistant with bachelor’s degree preferred. Will consider applicable experience.

Strong work ethic.

Self-motivated problem solver with professional demeanor.

Ability to prioritize tasks assigned by multiple sources while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, oral and written, over the phone and in person, essential.

Fluent Arabic Speaker preferred.


Working Conditions:
Work is based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.


Physical Requirements:
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
