About the Business Line
Government
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Property Specialist
in Afghanistan on the MOSC-A contract. The selected candidate will ensure property accountability is being achieved throughout the contract. Orders, receives, stores, maintains and issues supplies and equipment to support daily operations. Assists in property accountability records. Determines condition of material and equipment. Arranges disposal when necessary. Maintains accountability of government furnished property assigned to the directorate/department in accordance with requirements of the Federal Acquisitions Regulation. Maintains files in accordance with Army Records Information Management System. Operates PBUSE. Establishes and maintains hand receipts and sub-hand receipts as required. Assists in preparation of and processes financial liability investigation of property loss and statement of charges on lost, destroyed, or damaged equipment. Assists in resolving inventory and/or system problems. Generates reports as directed. Duties may vary dependant on assigned department. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years experience working in inventory control or property accountability is required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite and related applications.
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Must have high-level of organizational and planning skills.
Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
Driver’s license may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.
MHE Experience preferred.
Associate’s degree preferred.
