Project Manager - Northrop Grumman - Tyndall AFB, FL





This is a part time on call position. Northrop Grumman Technical Services at Tyndall Air Force Base is looking for a Project Manager who will manage a range of programs and projects from $4 to $100 Million supporting deployed forces in contingency environments such as; Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, and Oman. The Project Manager will lead the Project Team and provide the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) Program Manager & Field Program Managers at Bagram, Afghanistan and Al Udeid, Qatar support in the preparation of Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Independent Government Estimates, technical evaluations, resource advocacy, acquisition strategy to meet customers’ requirements, and financial tracking for a range of service/construction requirements. Additional duties include: review basic AFCAP Task Orders, reports of contractor performance, serve as technical advisor, present project, property and financial status of tasks, participate in staff meetings and planning sessions, perform other related tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in engineering, architecture, management,

business or science, 8 years experience of which 3 years are recent hands on

experience in project management in engineering or construction

fields; excellent communication skills and ability to clearly present facts,

figures, financial, and technical information; able to multi-task. Prior AFCAP

acquisition/Project Management experience. Working knowledge of congressional

appropriations and authorizations. Must have the ability to obtain a security

clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military (AFCEC) and/or extensive working experience in Southwest Asia;

Project Management processes for multi-million dollar efforts; knowledge of

DoD/Service/USCENTCOM organizations; prior project management experience.
