Forward-Deployed Program Manager


PAE is actively seeking a Forward-Deployed Program Manager (FPM)/EF1-Plan, Program, Budget and Execute (PPBE) Advisor to support the Advisory and Assistance Services for ISAF/ RE CJ7-TREX.

The Forward-deployed Program Manager (FPM) shall be responsible for the day-today execution and oversight of all Contractor duties, functions, deliverables, conduct, and standards as specified in the contract.

Principal Duties:



  • Supervise and document the performance of all contract personnel.




  • Coordinate closely with the CONUS-based PM, if applicable, and the RS CJ7-TREX Command Team forward to ensure timely and effective execution of all aspects of the Program Management Plan, the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan, and all other actions required by the contract.




  • Be the COR’s and RS CJ7-TREX Director’s primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to this contract. Work closely with the COR to ensure satisfactory fulfillment of contract requirements.




  • Mentors and advises RS advisors. Aids in the development and in the execution of RS advisor RSO&I and provides mentorship to advisors throughout their deployment.




  • Produce a weekly personnel status report and a monthly contract status report.

    Minimum Experience/Qualifications:




  • Possess a minimum of a BS or BA with documented program/project management experience, and be familiar with common qualitative and quantitative management tools and methodologies. – Master’s Degree in management field desired.




  • Project Management Professional certification is desired.




  • Have extensive experience working in joint military and governmental interagency and deployed environments, and working and supervising personnel in austere and remote conditions.




  • Have experience working on classified networks, interfacing with military staffs; military experience is required.




  • War College or equivalent graduate




  • Must have TS/SCI clearance eligibility(that can be waved)
