Project Coordinator IV - Michael Baker International - Alexandria, VA

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan

Purpose: Fill fluctuating needs and gaps in coordinating all phases of project development and implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• supervise the planning, organization, coordination of activities, resources, equipment and information for large single and/or multiple projects;

• supervise preparation of comprehensive project schedules

• supervise the presentation, review and tracking of proposed and approved project(s) changes and supervise the production of updated schedules;

• supervise the preparation of meeting minutes, presentations and reporting documents;

• supervise the compilation and proper filing of project documents;

• supervise the coordination and tracking of administrative tasks and personnel travel arrangements and expenses;

• supervise the development and/or review of planning documents;

• supervise and coordinate interfaces between multiple projects;

• supervise and coordinate the involvement of architectural, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical and specialty disciplines and;

• supervise and provide support in project design, bid and construction phases.

• providing technical support

• training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate

• creating and carrying out test procedures

• making improvements to and offering advice about operational procedures

Supervision

Required/Latitude:

• Broad supervision ; wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgement

Education:

High School diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/ or a technical discipline is preferred

Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of relevant practical experience or 8 years of relevant experience

Special Qualifications:

CBCP – Certified Building Commissioning Professional preferred

Security Clearance: Top Secret
