AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting new opportunity in Afghanistan on the MOSC-A contract as a Property Accountability Specialist
. . The specialist receives, inventories, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, or tools, and compiles stock records in the warehouse, or storage yard. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Examines stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications. Stores material in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or in containers according to identifying information.
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisitions material to fill incoming orders. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage, or shelf life to stock, location changes, and denial of shipments. Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, using labeling equipment. Distributes stock amongst workers, keeping records of material issued. Makes adjustments to articles carried in stock. Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height, weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. Moves or transports supplies to other departments, using hand forklift or industrial truck. Maintains inventories and other stock records, using computer terminal. May be designated according to material, equipment, or product stored, i.e. Retail or wholesale items. Performs other duties as required
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to obtain Security Clearance prior to start date.
Knowledge of logistics accountability sufficient to monitor review and/or inspect logistical requests, receipts, and pending transactions in accordance with command supply and maintenance discipline programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree preferred.
US Army MOS 92A or 92Y preferred.
1-3 years experience in property accountability preferred.
Issuing and receiving at the Wholesale/Depot level preferred.
Experience using automation systems preferred.
Prior military and MHE experience preferred.
Driver’s license may be required.
