Primary Function:
Assist EFR management team in completing required operations, developing organizational plans and policies, improve efficiency, and empower Sterling’s overall success. Manage operations and execute projects as directed. Actively supports and upholds the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute operations plan to achieve company goals
- Optimize operations plan to meet changing business needs
- Identify, anticipate, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Liaise with other teams in analyzing and resolving business problems
- Perform regular operations reviews to identify any issues/inconsistencies
- Perform resource allocation and work assignment for implementing business operations
- Determine operational risk factors and provide relevant mitigation plans
- Implement changes in workflow and work scope to meet business expectations
Job Requirements:
- Active security clearance
- Previous environmental footprint reduction experience
- Related College Degree or combination of experience and education in Operations or related field
- Five (5) years of successful operational management experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Ability to work outside normal work hours including weekends
- Ability to routinely travel away from primary work location in-excess of normal work day with little or no guidance.
- Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project & Outlook)
- Polished verbal and written communication skills to include technical and proposal writing skills; ability to communicate company practices with senior executives, clients, employees, military leaders and government officials
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously; personnel, budgets, materials, and time
- Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail and foresight
- Ability to identify and recommend additional opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives
- Ability to work in harsh or extreme, potentially hazardous working conditions when required
- Must possess valid passport
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
- Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation

- Construction oversight and management experience

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
