Assistant Special Security Advisor (ASSA) - Integral Consulting Services, Inc. - Charlottesville, VA





This statement of work focuses on providing United States Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) operating within the Combined Joint Operations Area—Afghanistan (CJOA-A) with intelligence operations support. The contractor shall support ISAF/USFOR-A by aiding in the coordination, planning and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operating Area – Afghanistan (CJOA-A). The objective of this requirement is to obtain a wide range of intelligence support services, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) support services within USFOR-A HQ ISAF, ISAF Joint Command (IJC) and Regional Commands in Afghanistan using an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Responsibilities:
This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S. Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. contractors.


This position requires an Associate’s degree, waiverable by COR based upon review of resume by customer and strong job related experience and special skills. Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable.


The contractor shall provide experienced hands-on security professionals with extensive resources and abilities to work with customers providing all SCI, and special security support to the ISAF/USFOR-A, IJC or RCs.


This position requires solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities in accordance with the Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 1/21 standard. The position requires a thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes. Must have a working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include NISPOM, NISPOM Supplement, DCIDs, and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) M-1 Manual.


Qualifications:
Security support from this position shall include processing personnel background investigations for special security clearance actions including, but not limited to, 1) formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures; 2) suggesting, implementing and monitoring compliance with the ISAF/USFOR-A special security policies and procedures; 3) conducting and coordinating the training for special security representatives; and 4) performing liaison with Government, NATO and industrial security officials. The contractor will also support collateral and higher access and badging procedures for the ISAF/USFOR-A headquarters, in coordination with the CJ2 military staff. This position requires TS/SCI.
