Senior All-Source Counterterrorism Analyst - BAE Systems - Reston, VA

Research and produce all-source counterterrorism studies and products focused on groups and networks operating in the East Division AOR. Conduct research and analysis of all-source data, populate databases, and disseminate a broad array of intelligence products to senior U.S. government and DoD audiences. Produce strategic-level all-source production on terrorist activities to include their operational capabilities, internal security, organizational facilities, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) in order to support national-level counterterrorism planning and operational missions.

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor or Master’s degree with 8 plus years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training & 10 plus years’ intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience. Credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field.

Preferred Skills and Education

The successful candidate must have experience producing original all-source analysis from unevaluated/raw classified data by fusing all major intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, etc). Candidate must have a working knowledge of Intelligence Community reporting methods (TD, TDX, IIR, TIR, etc). Candidate must also have experience with a message handling system (RMT/M3/Tripwire, etc) and MS Office suite.

Working knowledge of: counterterrorism analysis, particularly with regard to groups operating in Afghanistan/Pakistan or Asia; working knowledge of Analyst Notebook, Palantir or other spatial tools; JWICS analytic tools; familiarity with customer’s finished intelligence products; working knowledge of DNI analytic sourcing and writing standards; degree in a related discipline (International Relations/Security, Terrorism) also a plus.
