AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan for a HRIS Manager on the MOSC-a contract. The Manager directs and leads subordinates on the day-to-day operations and ensures daily assignments are carried out in a responsive timely manner.Assists in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and training plans. Keeps HR Director and Senior Management apprised of key administrative & human resource actions. Coordinates with HR Director and advises on all administrative and human resource actions. Responds to queries regarding human resource policies, standards for management position, classification, placement, and employee relations. Conducts individual counseling sessions with employees and supervisors related to work performance, discipline, and similar issues. Ensures the information infrastructure supporting employee records is managed and developed to provide comprehensive, timely and accurate data that meets the needs of the business and system users. Ensures success in the mapping of current HRIS business processes, improving the HRIS data and transaction processes. Continually monitors data integrity. Creates efficiencies to support company objectives. Analyzes HR operations and related metrics to identify errors, user training needs and efficiency trends. Implements related improvements. Provides first level application and operations support to users of HR systems, including Leaders as appropriate. This includes problem identification & resolution, local and report system support, reporting and user training. Writes, maintains, supports and delivers a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools Assists in development of standard reports and develops metrics, dashboards and enterprise reporting as needed. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Ensures the accuracy and quality of HR system information as used by management, third party administrators and regulatory authorities. Includes monitoring and analyzing HR information flow through manual and automated processes
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma required.
Five (5) years of human resources leadership experience at the supervisory level required.
Must possess a strong knowledge of operational procedures.
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance prior to start date.
Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor.
Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management.
Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
Must be able to identify conflicts of interest as they relate to employment situations.
Must have high-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.
Experience integrating HRIS systems, providing advice and following through toward problem resolution.
Demonstrated experience of analyzing metrics and making recommendations to Management.
Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other officials and general public.
Strong knowledge of human resource management practices required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
