AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary


AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a AWRDS Clerk in Afghanistan on the MOSC-A contract. Process data information from Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) generated stamped posted DD 1348-A signed from a Wholesale Responsible Officer (WRO) into the AWRDS system. Verify daily AWRDS data quality and integrity by checking plans for all required updates. Properly reserving equipment in AWRDS to a Document number provided by a Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) or a locally created Material Release Order (MRO). Provide MROs and EL_IDs to the RPAT staff for mission completion Enhances current systems and provides trend analysis. Update all required transportation as require in AWRDS. Identifies enhancements and improvements that increase the quality and efficiency of AWRDS data processing. Works closely with data quality technical staff, AWRDS Analysts and the data owners/subject matter experts. Ship equipment out of active retrograde plan into a transit plan after receiving a signed or stamped TCMD (DD1384). Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in reports analysis, such as determining necessity of report, simplification of reports format, increasing content effectiveness and reduction of processing costs. Properly identify Project Code using Federal Logistics program (FED LOG) as well as if equipment is standard or non-standard. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements



  • High School diploma or equivalent required




  • Technical knowledge and proficiency of optimal data entry processing is required.




  • One year experience in supply chain operation (i.e. receiving warehousing, distribution operations, or




  • shipping).




  • Must be able to verify accurate data upon entry into the system.




  • Must have excellent computer, interpersonal, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.




  • Must be customer service focused.




  • Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and have intermediate




  • math skills.




  • Must be able to work efficiently alone and as a team member.




  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.




  • Must be able to acquire working familiarization of standard query language (SQL).




  • Must be able to identify conflicts of interest as they relate to employment situations.




  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office programs to include; Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Access,




  • and Outlook.




  • Must be able to provide assistance to internal client needs.
