Field Services Representative (FSR) - Vehicle Maintenance SME - BRTRC - Warren

BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Services Representative (FSR) – Vehicle Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Italian Army and the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Family of Vehicles (FoVs.) This position will be located OCONUS in Afghanistan.

Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Experts shall provide guidance on field and sustainment level maintenance to include diagnostics and repair of the vehicles.

The SME shall act as an onsite liaison for the MRAP Program Office for matters related to ongoing reset activities.

Duties, tasks, and responsibilities of the SME shall include but are not limited to:

Having a broader understanding of ongoing reset activities, priorities, quality issues, and MRAP Program Office policies that impact reset objectives.

Providing assistance in failure diagnosis

Incorporation of government approved engineering changes to the FoV

Providing maintenance, supply, warranty, and quality deficiency information to the PM for reporting

Assisting unit personnel in operator and maintenance procedures at field sites

Performing quality checks and inspections of vehicles completed byt the performing depot

Qualifications:
Six+ years of proven maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and technical experience and background in industrial manufacturing, commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance, and be able to use common tools.

Current DoD security clearance and valid U.S. passport

Ability to successfully pass all pre-deployment requirements, as required

Ability to obtain an Afghan Visa, as required

Conversational language ability in Italian or other romance language desired.

MRAP U certification preferred.
