Journeyman Insurgent Network Analyst
PAE is currently seeking a Journeyman Insurgent Network Analyst in support of our customer in Charlottesville, VA. This person will support the overall intelligence program designed to support US Forces in Afghanistan and potentially into other COCOM area of operations. This effort is a multi‐faceted Intelligence program designed to provide counter IED and insurgency network analysis and targeting support. Primary responsibilities include:
Provide analytical support to counter insurgency and IED operations, indications and warning, threat assessment, and collection management.
Provide expert all-source research, analysis, and intelligence production that specifically answer a customer’s RFI or requirement.
Provide expert knowledge in one more of the following areas: All source analytical products, Link and nodal diagrams , Network and Social Network Framework, High Value Individual (HVI) Targeting, Counter-Insurgent Methodology, Geospatial Analytical Products, Periodic Database Reports, Briefings (written or verbal), Biometrics analysis , IED and other improvised device types, characteristics and employment TTP, Trends and Pattern Analysis, Special Operations Planning and Targeting.
Working knowledge of i2 Analyst Notebook, AXIS Pro, WebTAS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth, DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS search engines
Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle and intelligence analytic techniques including trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis and network or social network analysis
Research, review, evaluate, analyze, and integrate all-source data from numerous data sources (e.g. DCGS-A, NSANet, CIDNE, etc…) to produce all-source network analysis and targeting products
Produce intelligence assessments for formal production and release to the Intelligence Community (IC) and other consumers.
Coordinates with other NGIC offices, IC organizations and theater intelligence resources to gather additional information and share analytic conclusions. The Journeyman analyst is capable of deployment throughout theater of operation to conduct counterinsurgent and IED network analysis
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School diploma coupled with 5+ years of intelligence analysis and targeting experienceORbadge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least 5 years’ experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency is acceptable
Active TS/SCI clearance
Military occupational specialty (MOS) 31D, 311D, 35F, 350F, 35D, 18F, 180A, or DoD joint service equivalent, or civilian 0132, 1811
