Network Manager III - Lockheed Martin - Bethesda, MD
This position is a temporary full-time position with an expected assignment length of six (6) months. Lockheed Martin is looking for a Network Manager III Bagram, Afghanistan to operate and maintain Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and SIPR/NIPR networks. The Technician will provide technical and operational support for the operation and administration of network infrastructure, switches, routers, sniffers and supporting hardware, file, application, communication, web, email, financial, domain and CD servers, databases and inside cable plant. The contractor shall implement network modifications and administration, to include additions, changes, deletions, and configuration of network resources. Typical duties will include: Review Management, monitoring, maintenance and sustainment of all network layer architecture and systems; Engineer and maintain all network layer architecture and systems as required: Engineer networks at the non-enterprise Tier @ level: Engineer and install network expansions; Ensure encryption of equipment used on the network to include control and safeguarding, configuration and “user level” maintenance of Ethernet and serial encryption devices; and Attend and participate scheduled NOSC Networking meetings as required by the local communications squadron commander.
